This is a new type of hoof pack. It's all-natural, based on leather, eucalyptus, and silver, and it is anti-microbial. It smells wonderful and deals very effectively with Fusobacterium necrophorum. (Thrush). It doesn't contain any chemicals so it never actually sets but remains as a constant sticky malleable mass.
Due to its pliable state, it is constantly pressed against the sole and frog under the horse's load right through the shoeing period, preventing any clearance from being formed during growth which prevents the ingression of any more poo and pee—the primary culprits causing thrush.
